Sarah + Jake’s Wedding at Blue Heron

Sarah and Jake celebrated their entire wedding day at Blue Heron, from their first look and portraits to the ceremony and reception.

Before the ceremony, Sarah and Jake shared a private first look together—a chance to slow things down and enjoy a few moments with just each other before the day really got underway. From there, we completed their couple’s portraits, wedding party photos, and immediate family portraits, giving them plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the day without feeling rushed.

Their ceremony had an especially personal touch—their best friends were the ones who officiated and helped them make it official. With live strings from Opus 216 setting the atmosphere and florals by Bouquets by Becky adding to the beautiful setting, Sarah and Jake exchanged vows surrounded by the people who know and love them best. Sarah looked incredible in her gown from Brides by the Falls.

Right after the ceremony, we gathered everyone for a few big group photos with their extended family. Since we had already completed most of the portraits earlier in the day, we were able to move through those larger family photos quickly before Sarah and Jake joined their guests and the celebration continued.

The reception brought everyone together for heartfelt moments, special dances, and plenty of time on the dance floor. DJ Smooth Beats kept the energy going throughout the evening as Sarah and Jake celebrated with their family and friends.

Congratulations, Sarah + Jake! It was a pleasure documenting a wedding day that felt personal, relaxed, and centered around the people who mean the most to them.
