Frequently Asked Questions
How long have you been a photographer?
For 14 years I've been passionate about the art of photography. I started on my first year of highschool using black & white 35mm Film, developing and printing in a darkroom.
Do you shoot digital or film?
I shoot 100% digital
How long have you photographed weddings?
I have captured weddings since 2007 and went full time July 2011 and never looked back! :)
How do you describe your style?
My style is very journalistic, the most important images to me are the unexpected. These images will make you smile, laugh, cry and relive that moment. I make sure that every couple gets great portraits and I capture details that made the wedding fabulous. I'm very technical, I love using different lenses with a combination of lighting to achieve a certain look.
What is full day coverage?
I'm there from the getting ready moments all the way towards the end of reception. The average wedding coverage goes 12-15 hours.
Do you have backup equipment? Do you back up your images?
Yes, I bring backup camera, lenses, flash, etc. This is to ensure that your wedding will be captured in case of a technical difficulty. Images are backed up while I shoot and I backup into three seperate hard drives as soon as I arrive home from the wedding.
Do we get the rights to the images?
I maintain copyright of all of my images, but I do provide my clients with a Print Release so they can make prints at a lab of their choice.
How many images do you deliver?
I deliver anywhere from 400-500 images edited and ready for print.
How long after the wedding do we get to see the images?
Your images will be available to view in a password protected gallery 3-6 weeks after the wedding. You will receive the digital files along with the print release 6-8 weeks after the wedding. But don't worry, you will get to see a preview on the blog while you wait. :)
What happens if you get ill or injured and cannot come to the wedding?
I will be there no matter what! But life happens and I'm human. Thankfully I am honored to personally know some of the best wedding photographers in Northeast Ohio that will have my back in a situation like this.
Do you offer albums?
Most certainly! I'll be happy to show you some samples during our consultation.
